What Time Do I Need to Order for Same-Day Flower Delivery in LA?
Order before 11 AM, Monday through Saturday, and Adore Flowers delivers the same afternoon across Los Angeles, in the guaranteed 1 to 5 PM window.
That single time is the whole rule for same-day in this city. Miss it and nothing is lost, the order simply moves to the next delivery day. Below: what each order time actually means, why the cutoff sits where it does, and when scheduling ahead beats racing the clock.
What time is the same-day cutoff in Los Angeles?
11 AM, Monday through Saturday. An order placed before that is designed the same morning and delivered that afternoon, in the 1 to 5 PM window. Deliveries run in two windows daily, 10 AM to 1 PM and 1 PM to 5 PM.
What each order time means for the day your flowers arrive:
| When you order | Delivery day | Window | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Before 11 AM, Monday to Saturday | Same day | 1 to 5 PM, guaranteed | A birthday today, a hospital visit, an apology |
| After 11 AM, Monday to Saturday | Next delivery day | 10 AM to 1 PM or 1 to 5 PM | Anything that can wait a day |
| Any time Sunday | Monday | 10 AM to 1 PM or 1 to 5 PM | Weekend orders for a Monday desk |
| A future date chosen at checkout | The date you pick, Monday to Saturday | 10 AM to 1 PM or 1 to 5 PM | Anniversaries, birthdays, events |

What happens if you miss the 11 AM cutoff?
The order moves to the next delivery day automatically and you still receive a confirmation. You do not need to cancel or reorder anything, and the price does not change.
If the deadline is firm, a dinner tonight or a flight tomorrow, add a note at checkout and call the studio. We will tell you plainly what is possible.
Why is the cutoff at 11 AM?
Because the day starts at the market, not at the bench. I select stems before dawn in the Downtown Flower District, where wholesale trading runs from 2 AM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
What follows takes the rest of the morning. Stems are cut and conditioned, each arrangement is built by hand, and the afternoon route is planned around the addresses we have. An order that arrives at noon has missed that sequence, not our willingness.
Does the cutoff apply if I am ordering from out of state?
Yes, and the cutoff is Pacific time. Order from anywhere in the world and we design and deliver here in Los Angeles.
Watch the clock difference. 11 AM in Los Angeles is 2 PM in New York and evening across Europe, so ordering the day before is the calmer plan.
Do holidays change the cutoff?
The 11 AM cutoff holds on peak days, but the delivery slots fill faster. The Society of American Florists reports that Valentine's Day is the number one holiday for florists and for floral purchases.
Around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, order a day or two ahead where you can. Any studio closure dates are shown at checkout.
Is it better to schedule ahead than race the cutoff?
For a date you already know, yes. At checkout you can pick any delivery day, Monday through Saturday, and we design the arrangement fresh that morning.
Scheduling removes the clock from the equation entirely. In six years at the bench I have never seen an anniversary get calmer by being remembered at 10:45 AM.
How does the cutoff work for a hotel or an office?
Same-day orders arrive in the 1 to 5 PM window, which suits an afternoon hotel check-in. For an office it lands in the back half of the working day, so a Friday order can miss the recipient at their desk.
If a morning arrival matters, pick a date at checkout and leave a note. We route to the notes we are given.
How do I know my order made the cutoff?
You receive a confirmation either way, and it names the delivery day. If the day shown is not the one you wanted, call the studio while the morning is still young.
Nothing about the cutoff is hidden at checkout. The delivery date you are buying is the one on the confirmation, not an estimate.
What can I send if I order this morning?
Our same-day collection is the fastest path, with arrangements from $150 leaving the studio the same day on orders before 11 AM. For West Hollywood or any address with a front desk, add the recipient's name and the desk instructions at checkout.
