How Much Does Flower Delivery Cost in Los Angeles?
Flower delivery cost in Los Angeles comes down to two things: the price of the arrangement, and a delivery fee. At Adore Flowers the delivery fee is calculated by distance at checkout, based on where your order is going within our service area, and it is shown before you pay. There is no fixed fee and no free-over-threshold, so you only ever pay for the trip your order actually takes.
What you are actually paying for
A delivered arrangement bundles a few costs that a grocery-store bunch does not: fresh-cut seasonal stems, a piece designed by hand the morning it ships, a permanent vessel chosen to suit it, a hand-written note, and a timed courier across a large, traffic-heavy city. The arrangement price covers the flowers, the vessel, and the design; the delivery fee covers the drive.
How the delivery fee works
Our fee is worked out by distance during checkout, from our Downtown Los Angeles studio to the recipient's address. Because it is distance-based, a delivery to Downtown or Silver Lake costs less to send than one out to Malibu or the Palisades. Whatever it comes to, you see the number before you pay. For the areas and ZIP codes we cover, see the delivery page.
What drives an arrangement's price
- Size. A small hand-tie costs less than a large statement arrangement, simply because it uses fewer stems.
- Season. Prices track the market. A stem at the height of its LA season costs less than one flown in out of season, which is one reason we design around what is fresh that week.
- The vessel. Each arrangement is set in a permanent vessel our designer selects, meant to outlast the blooms and stay on the shelf long after, so part of the price is an object you keep.
Getting the most for your budget
Two habits stretch a budget without cutting the look. First, lean seasonal: ask for a designer's-choice arrangement built from what is best at the market that morning, which is often the most flower for the money. Our everyday collection is made for exactly this. Second, schedule ahead rather than racing a deadline; it gives you the calm to choose the size you want. For a milestone, the signature collection shows what larger work looks like.
