When should holiday flowers arrive?
- Hanukkah: begins at sundown on Friday, December 4 and ends Saturday, December 12. Schedule the first night's flowers for Thursday, December 3 or the morning of the 4th.
- Christmas: Friday, December 25. Schedule delivery for Wednesday, December 23 or earlier, so the flowers are settled before guests arrive.
- New Year's Eve: Thursday, December 31. Schedule delivery for Tuesday, December 29 or Wednesday, December 30.
December is the busiest month we work, and a date booked early gives our designers time to buy toward it.
Which size suits the room?
For a dining table, choose the Small at $150 or the Medium at $200, so guests can see each other across it. The Large at $300 and the Grand at $400 belong on a mantel, a console or an entry. Sending to someone else's home, the Medium works in the most places.
What is in a holiday arrangement?
Our designers buy at the Los Angeles Flower Market the morning each order ships. December brings amaryllis, ranunculus, anemone, branch and berry. The mood you choose is the promise; the stems follow the market that week. For a piece composed around a particular room, order the designer's choice and tell us about the space.
